The AMD EPYC 3251 is newer than Intel Xeon E5-2670 @ 2.60GHz also around 35% faster in multi-threaded (CPU Mark) testing, it is around 22% faster in single-thread testing. However, AMD EPYC 3251 uses substantially less power.
