AMD Opteron 2431 vs Intel Xeon L5420

The AMD Opteron 2431 is newer than Intel Xeon L5420 @ 2.50GHz also around 26% faster in multi-threaded (CPU Mark) testing, but Intel Xeon L5420 @ 2.50GHz is around 30% faster in single-thread testing. However, AMD Opteron 2431 uses around 40% more power.
