Intel Pentium G645T vs Core2 Extreme X6800

The Intel Pentium G645T @ 2.50GHz is newer than Intel Core2 Extreme X6800 @ 2.93GHz also around 11% faster in multi-threaded (CPU Mark) testing but the CPUs have comparable single-thread rating.
