Intel Xeon E5-2640 v3 vs AMD EPYC 3251

The AMD EPYC 3251 is newer than Intel Xeon E5-2640 v3 @ 2.60GHz also around 20% faster in multi-threaded (CPU Mark) testing but the CPUs have comparable single-thread rating. However, AMD EPYC 3251 uses substantially less power.
