Intel Xeon D-1518 vs AMD Opteron X3421 APU

The AMD Opteron X3421 APU is newer than Intel Xeon D-1518 @ 2.20GHz, while Intel Xeon D-1518 @ 2.20GHz is around 25% faster in multi-threaded (CPU Mark) testing, but AMD Opteron X3421 APU is around 10% faster in single-thread testing. Both CPUs operates at simliar power levels (TDP).
